Yes, for many vehicles. We cut and program push-to-start smart key fobs on-site for domestic, Asian and European makes, starting at $250, so you skip the tow and the dealer wait. A few vehicles need dealer-only procedures, so give us the year, make and model and we'll confirm before we book.
A transponder key, cut and programmed, costs $120 to $180. A smart key fob or push-to-start key starts at $250. The exact price depends on your vehicle's year, make and model, and you get it before we dispatch.
We can make a new key from scratch where your car is parked, so you don't need a tow to the dealer. On-site, we need your photo ID and the registration or title. At American Locksmith Services LLC, standard rates are a $25 dispatch fee (credited toward your job), $85 and up for a car lockout, $150 for a house lockout, $45 per cylinder for a residential rekey, and $75 for a commercial service call or $75 per hour of commercial labor. Yes. We rekey listings and newly purchased homes so old keys stop working, at $45 per lock cylinder, scheduled around your showing or closing date. Agents need the seller's written authorization or the listing agreement. New owners need a photo ID and their closing documents.

Yes. American Locksmith Services LLC is licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety as a locksmith company (license #B19937101) under Texas Occupations Code Chapter 1702, which covers installing, servicing and rekeying locks and other mechanical security hardware. We carry general liability insurance and can send a certificate of insurance before the job.

Yes. We rekey or change locks for landlords, property managers and asset managers when a writ of possession is executed and on bank-owned (REO) properties. Before we start, we need the writ of possession, court order or bank work order. Residential rekeys are $45 per cylinder. Commercial rekeys are $95 for the first lock and $75 for each additional lock on the same visit.
